With 486 K’NEX pieces and a battery-powered motor included in this building construction set, kids can build a working Roller Coaster and two additional models, a Ramp and a Half Pipe, while they explore foundational learning principles, such as dexterity, problem-solving and causation. Each model can be built one at a time. The included Teacher's Guide and building instructions are aligned with educational standards for key stages 2 and 3 and help guide kids through different inquiry-based experiments, broadening their understanding of the scientific process. Children will learn about the relationship between time, distance and speed plus much more as they build and discover. After the structures have been completed the pieces can be reassembled however kids want, allowing their natural curiosity to come to the fore.
